But it's not as good as your other stuff. Honestly though, looking at your work, I think you're too hard a critic on yourself, though I guess that's the sign of a true artist, eh? I have the same problem, and it's why I never submit anything. You still kick ass though, I like your style and choice of inspiration.

I like how the story was laid out, but it definitely seemed to progress slower due to a lapse in dialog by the characters. I thought the humor was definitely a 10 of 10, i got a big kick out of the whole thing. Aside from the cartoon antics, my friends and I get on in the same way. I think the last scene was great, too, though it's not what I expected. I thought it was going to involve the key somehow going down the wrong pipe.

This piece had a very fluid quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed the music. Everything was very smooth and supple, but had some sort of command as if to say, "Watch me. I am beautiful."

A game? No. Games can be won. I actually could look past the whole rapid color shift idea the entire time I was playing until I realized there was no way for me to get the ball into the computer's court. The computer was set to track the dead center of the ball the entire time it was in play, meaning if you kept hitting the ball, you'd always be playing. I let the score sail up to 1099 and then shifted my paddle to the opposite side of the screen so the ball wouldn't touch my paddle anymore. If you make another game, make it beatable. It can be hard as hell, as long as there's actually an ending in which the player doesn't have to lose the game. Also, I'm not sure if this happened to everyone, but right when my score hit 50 the music stopped. The music was bad too. Other than that, the controls worked and everything except replay value, a point, and a fulfilling waste of time were there.

This was pretty funny, but I would've enjoyed some background music. It reminded me of the My Way parodies, because they've done transformers too. I think if it was a little longer, didn't loop, and had music, it'd be perfect. The comedy was good, but I didn't actually laugh because I'm exhausted right now and can't really muster a giggle or anything. I think I might've laughed a pretty reasonable amount...but rest assured, I did enjoy your submission. Don't take any crap from people who say you're not original, because those guys probably like sprite flashes or flashes based on trademarked superheroes.
Author's Response:
Thank you very much, it was my first shot. I'm sure the quality will go up as I get my stride.

This movie was made 8 years ago, I remember seeing it then and thinking it was the shit. I averaged how I felt about it then and how I feel about it now and I settled on a nine with the review and a five for your submission, because 4.65 isn't an option. I've always been a fan of the transformers, and it would seem that your fanaticism runs much deeper than mine :). It's not a bad thing, especially not in this case. Good work on this older submission, and it really shows that, despite how well this turned out, you've utterly surpassed it.

I had a great time playing this game, due to the variety of enemies to face and the weapons you can both purchase and gain though combat. The BFD music remix fit very well with the game's atmosphere, which was pretty damn sweet. It'd probably be quite the news story if a person working at a medieval themed entertainment/food hall actually did that after eating a shroomy pizza, but since I'm not sure it'll happen I'm glad I got to play the game.
The only thing I had any sort of problem with was the rapid acceleration in difficulty. I can understand that, with a four level game, a challenge had better develop soon to keep up with the player's progress, but some things were very odd. The Zombie type enemies on the third level weren't much alone, but if you let three of them hit you at once they'd knock off about a quarter of your life bar!
However, on my second try I managed to die only one time in the course of the game because I compensated for most of what the enemies did (like I should have in the first place). I spent most of my time wondering what the various enemies actually were, as opposed to how the Baron saw them. Seriously, if the cops are willing to kill you to stop your escapades through town, you must've really wrecked some faces. Great game, great times, great job to everyone who helped put this game together. Thanks guys!
By the way, you got a five.
Also, this might be common sense to most people on the site;
If a game doesn't load, you can't review it! Same for a movie! You have nothing to say about the subject matter and therefore can't form an opinion. If you really want to play it, try shutting down your web browser and then restarting it, or even power-cycle your modem. Don't add useless comments to the review panel.

Since the first installment, I've been watching and enjoying your work.
Cool-dude has the right idea on the disapproval of everyone else, but the analogy is slightly...askew. This is more like racial tension, the "separate but equal" mindset of the US before the acceptance of civil rights for everyone. But, I guess gay relationships are the new "racial tension"...it's all screwy. Anyway;
The quality of work, while never lacking from your animations, has improved even further from your last installment! The animation is very smooth, and you're very talented at conveying a story as complicated as a rabbit that loves a cat and vice versa, all while not using any words to describe it. It's got a definite flow, and is pretty easy to understand, as long as you've seen the first two animations. Speaking of which, anyone who reads my review should watch the first two steps before watching this one! There's a timeline and you'll miss out on the story's development!
I also enjoy the music. Despite not actually knowing what the words mean, I like the song and think it fits pretty well as ambiance to this story. Well done, SamBakZa.

Marked improvement over last year's edition. The backgrounds are much more engaging, the effects are better, and the sound quality is top notch. I really liked it, and despite the nature of your characters, you somewhat humanized them. I just don't know why all of the zombies are onions :P.
I gave you a five because I want to see this pass. More people have to watch it, and I do genuinely like what you've done with it.
Author's Response:
You know, the reasoning behind the Zombies being onions is pretty far from my mind too. Not sure why they are what they are!
Thanks for the 5 man! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! And it's pretty hard to humanize potatoes, good to know you think I can!

Every single time I see one of your animations, I know it'll top the previous. This was definitely no exception.
I really enjoy your style of animation, and the innate silliness of everything that moves in one of your musical cartoons. The best part is, it doesn't look like anything is trying to be funny, it just is;
And that's how you made it.
The sound quality was great, and I liked the harmony you put in towards the end of the loop.
You're very creative with your songs. Does it take long for a song to strike you, or is it something that you'll brainstorm in conjunction with the animation, i.e. you write it as the storyboard is completed? I thought this was really funny, by the way. It seemed so subversively insidious until the secret was revealed, and I was laughing the whole time.
You got a 10 for the review and a five for your vote. I normally don't stray far from a four or five with you, and I'd like to think it's because I really appreciate what you bring out for people to see. Not everyone can do what makes artists popular here.
